Microsoft is reportedly prepared to pay $1.5 billion to ensure Yahoo workers stay following a possible acquisition. In court documents, a Yahoo lawyer said Microsoft informed the Internet company the money had been earmarked “for employee retention at Yahoo.”

On Monday, Microsoft released an Office add-in of their own.
